Should I Vape CBD?

For those looking to step into CBD, there are a lot of factors to consider when choosing your medium. For those who vape, E-Liquids are certainly an easy and more convenient step to taking CBD. Likewise, those who want a fast-acting CBD effect, vaping is the quickest and most effective way of absorbing CBD. However, if you’re unfamiliar with vaping or do not vape normally, there are other alternatives that may be better for you.

What is CBD E-Liquid?

Sometimes known as CBD vape or CBD vape juice, these liquids contain CBD alongside the classic ingredients propylene glycol (PG) and vegetable glycerin (VG) plus flavourings. Our Cali Greens CBD vapes are made from CBD Isolate which is the purest form of CBD. This also means it’s free from terpenes, flavonoids or cannabinoids, which means they can be flavoured more intricately with other flavours.

How much CBD is in your bottle?

Before we figure out how much you should be using, it’s a great starting point to figure out just how much you will/can be using. Our CBD vape E-Liquids are 10ml bottles and come in a choice of 300 or 600mg strength. Now of course this doesn’t mean you’ll be vaping 300mg with every puff, so how much do you actually get?

Roughly, a great way to figure this out is with a simple bit of maths (don’t worry you can use a calculator). All you have to do is take your total mg for the bottle and divide it by the ml of the bottle. Now if you’re using a vape tank that holds more than 1ml, you need to multiply the total by the capacity of your tank.

So, once you’ve finished your tank you’ll know how much CBD you’ve taken. Some devices even feature a counter that keeps track of how many puffs you take, so if you divide the CBD capacity of your tank by the number of puffs, you’ll know roughly how much you get per puff.

Dosage Factors

Although CBD is well-tolerated in high volumes due to the endocannabinoid system in our bodies, it’s always best to play it safe. But on the flip side, too little and you might not even notice any effects! The Food Standards Agency (FSA) have since stated that users of CBD should take no more than 70mg a day – that’s 28 drops of 5% CBD product, or just over a 2ml tank of 300mg CBD vape.

Most commonly, people start around 10mg per day (that would be a 1/3rd of your 1ml vape tank, or 1/6th of a 2ml vape tank when using our 300mg CBD Vape E-Liquid) then gradually raise the dosage over the next few weeks. That way it allows you to keep tabs on the effects of CBD and tailor it to how you feel.

It also depends on various factors such as body weight and body chemistry. Generally, it’s found that those with a heavier weight may need to take a stronger CBD to feel the same effects as someone of a slight build using less.

Vaping CBD can make you start feeling the effects of CBD just minutes after taking your first dose. If you think you might want to try CBD vape E-Liquids, we offer disposable devices and 10ml bottles in 300mg and 600mg strengths. There’s also a choice of flavours include: lemon, Granddaddy purple (grape), blackcurrant and mango.
