It’s time for some self-pampering but you don’t need expensive face masks to make your skin feel fresh and new. Most of these items are probably already in your cupboard or fridge. Take a little time for yourself and relax with these DIY CBD face mask recipes to leave your face looking and feeling fresh.

Our CBD drops contain stevia which is an excellent ingredient for skin care as it can help inhibit the growth of bacteria that causes inflammation and the formation of acne. When enjoying these drops orally, stevia provides a taste of sweetness to each drop. In face masks, stevia can help leave skin feeling soft, supple and lessen any irritation.

Face Mask for Hydration & Moisture

Great for every skin type, this mask helps to hydrate and provide moisture leaving your skin feeling supple and practically glowing.

Oats are a superfood for our bodies and skin. They are packed with avenanthramides that help to deliver anti-inflammatory, anti-proliferative and anti-itching properties to our skin. Especially when these are ground up, oats are a great exfoliant for shedding dead skin.

Avocado is a healthy fat that’s great for your hair, skin and nails. By using this in your mix, it allows those healthy fats to sit on top of your skin and deeply moisturise it. CBD is attracted to fats and oils, so this addition is great for ensuring your CBD binds to your mixture and is evenly distributed.

Face Mask for Combination Skin

For those with combination skin (a mix of oily and dry) looking for a pick-me-up, this mask is just for you.

Yoghurt is full of healthy bacteria and fats that help plump and hydrate skin. And because of the fats within yoghurt, your CBD will bind to this easier to distribute better across your face. It also contains lactic acid which is important for skincare as it can help exfoliate and remove dead skin cells.

The recipe also contains turmeric which has anti-inflammatory properties which can help calm the skin. Although it’s important to note that it can stain your skin and any other surfaces it meets. The use of raw honey in this recipe should help minimise the amount of staining but to be on the safe side, do this mask a few days prior to any events or outings!

A small amount of lemon juice is great for adding some refreshing zest to your face mask but too much can be drying and irritating to your skin. If you’re worried about it, you can do a small patch test on your wrist or behind your ear.

Ingredients
• 1 tbsp plain, full-fat yogurt
• 1 tsp of turmeric powder
• ½ tsp raw honey
• ¼ tsp fresh lemon juice
• 3 drops of CBD oil

Method
1. In a bowl add all your ingredients and mix together until smooth then apply evenly to the face.
2. Rinse with warm water after 10-15mins then pat dry. Finish with your favourite moisturiser to keep all that hydration for longer.

Face Mask for Uneven Skin Complexion & Tone

The mixture of turmeric and yogurt really does the face wonders. They can help brighten and help with uneven skin tone for smoother, happier skin. As mentioned before, turmeric can be staining to your skin so perhaps leave this face mask for when you have a few days to yourself.

Ingredients
• 1 tbsp plain, full-fat yogurt
• 1 tbsp of raw honey
• 1 tbsp of turmeric powder
• 4 drops of CBD oil

Method
1. In a bowl add all your ingredients and mix together until smooth then apply evenly to face.
2. Rinse with warm water after 10-15mins then pat dry. Finish with your favourite moisturiser to keep all that hydration for longer.
