Arguably one of the easiest ways to try CBD for the first time, disposable CBD vapes are a great way for vapers to try CBD or enjoy it on the go. Let’s go over some of the important things you should know about them.

What are disposable CBD vapes?

Disposable CBD vapes are hand-held vape devices that allow users to vape CBD liquid on the go. Usually, these devices are non-refillable and single-use. They can also come in a variety of flavours that make vapes even more enjoyable.

Our Cali Greens range of disposable CBD vapes include the flavours Granddaddy purple (grape), Amnesia Mango, Blackcurrant Ice and Lemon Haze. CBD Go boasts at least 500 puffs and 150mg of CBD in the 2.5ml liquid contained in the device.

But how long does a disposable CBD vape last?

Traditionally, a device that runs around 500 puffs would probably last you a day, but CBD disposable vapes are different. To get the benefits of CBD you don’t have to puff for hours on end, in fact, many users report only needing a few drags on their disposable CBD vape pen to achieve satisfactory results.

To this end, a CBD disposable pen can last you a couple of weeks. It’s also important to remember that the FSA suggest that you should have no more than 70mg a day, so a couple of puffs 2-3 times a day depending on your chosen strength, will likely get you to this limit!

How is CBD vape juice different from nicotine E-Liquids?

CBD vape juice features Propylene Glycol and Vegetable Glycerine as a base just like nicotine-containing E-Liquids. These two chemicals help create a liquid able to be vaped and carry the additional flavours added to the vape liquid.

Where it differs, normal E-Liquids either contain nicotine, nicotine salts or are nicotine-free with the intention of mixing with nicotine shots. CBD vape liquids instead include cannabidiol, the naturally occurring chemical compound found in hemp plants.

Whereas nicotine-containing E-Liquids can be addictive due to the nicotine in them, CBD is not addictive. A 2016 study concluded this after testing that CBD did not display addictive behaviours in the subjects of the study. This is why some vapers looking to move away from nicotine have been making the switch to CBD vapes.

Our CBD Go disposable devices are made with CBD Isolate – the purest form of naturally occurring CBD, from high-quality CBD sustainably grown in Colorado. CBD Isolate does not contain THC, the psychoactive element of cannabis.

What does it feel like to vape CBD, will it get me high?

You may have already tried vaping and are familiar with the feeling which is not too dissimilar.

If you’re looking to switch from smoking to vaping and have never vaped before, then it may feel a little strange to you. We promise it’s nothing like inhaling smoke, vapour is much thinner and more pleasant to inhale. Unlike nicotine-based E-Liquids, you don’t need to hold in your CBD vape when you inhale to get the effect of CBD. Holding your breath while vaping can irritate the lungs, so it’s best to exhale once you’ve drawn the vapour into your lungs.

CBD vapes offer a quicker absorption of CBD due to the vapour being inhaled, with some users claiming a feeling of calm or relaxation. You won’t experience a euphoric feeling as some may think when taking CBD, this is because the compound that creates this (THC) is not present in CBD vapes.

How much should I vape?

Most people are recommended to start at 10mg per day but the dosage per person really does differ. It’s important to note that the Food Standards Agency (FSA) state that you should have no more than 70mg a day.

There are tons of factors that can mean your dosage is different from others, from the method of taking CBD to your body type. We suggest a steady approach and taking 2-3 puffs a day to see how you feel. If the CBD effect isn’t strong enough for you then gradually increase your puffs over the next few days until the desired effect.

Are CBD disposable vape pens legal in the UK?

Some people hear the word ‘CBD’ and can’t help but question, ‘is it legal?’ Most people recognise it as a product from the cannabis plant but what they don’t realise, is that CBD is not the same as Cannabis. CBD is an extract pulled from the cannabis plant or hemp plants which are naturally low in THC (the controlled chemical substance that causes psychoactive effects of cannabis), which is non-addictive and non-psychoactive.

In the UK, CBD is perfectly legal so long as it adheres to a few rules. Chiefly, CBD must not contain any more than 0.2% of THC. Our CBD Disposable Vapes contain only this trace amount of THC and are manufactured using premium hemp CBD making them perfectly legal. It’s also advised that CBD products not be sold and used by those under the age of 18. But generally, CBD is very much a legal and welcome part of the UK’s wellness products, and CBD disposable vapes are exactly the same.

Moving from CBD disposable vape pens

CBD disposable vape pens are a great way to try CBD if you’re already a vaper, as they offer an easy way to vape without any prior knowledge or equipment. For those who enjoy vaping CBD and have done so for a while, we recommend upgrading to using a refillable vape pen or ‘tank style’ vape with a battery. This not only works as a more cost-effective method but gives you greater leeway to tailor your CBD intake or try the greater variety of flavours available on the market.
